Preston City Congregational Church

Joyce Costner has been the Choir Director and organist at Preston City Congregational Church since 1982. She started out singing in the choir and as a substitute organist with no prior experience playing a church organ, her expertise is piano. Joyce has been singing and playing piano since age 7. She holds a degree in Liberal Arts, was a nursery school teacher for 13 years and has been teaching piano privately to children of all ages since 1976. She is responsible for arranging all music for the Sunday morning worship.

Our music programs include:

THE CHILDREN'S CHOIR
meets after church on Sunday morning (11:15-11:45). Children in grades 2 through 6 are welcome to participate. The choir sings during the 10:30 service numerous times throughout the year.

THE YOUTH CHOIR
meets on Thursday evenings from 6:30-7:00 in the Sanctuary. Students in grades 7 and up are welcome to participate. The choir sings during the 10:30 service numerous times throughout the year.

THE ADULT CHOIR
meets on Thursday evenings from 7:00-8:30. They sing during the 10:30 service and new voices are always welcome!
